Their Story
Mbungo is one of our largest and longest-standing packs with the most remarkable alpha female, Double C, now 9 years old! The pack lives in insecure habitat and has faced huge challenges from poachers’ wire snares, but the resilience of the pack, and particularly their leader, Double C is truly incredible. In addition, she is an excellent mother, producing litters of more than 10 pups each year, so the pack is never short of a playful brood.
